Skin Care
Whats Involved?
Dry skin is a common problem when it comes to our feet and looking after them will keep your feet more comfortable and less prone to problems. There are many different types of creams on the market and selecting the right one can be tricky. Your Foot Health Practitioner can help you select the right type of skin care for you.
How Successful is the treatment?
Once you have the right foot cream (barrier, exfoliating, simple moisturiser or medicated) it is a simple case of regular application. Your Foot Health Practitioner will discuss with the frequency of application and when best to apply the cream. They will also explain how to avoid causing other problems by applying excess cream or applying it in the wrong areas.
Other Info
Most people will see an improvement in their skin texture within a few days. If for any reason things do not improve as expected you should discuss this with your practitioner who will review the treatment and who may recommend an alternative treatment.
